Microgaming Encourages Honest Play in Online Casinos

When it comes to online casino software, Microgaming is among the finest. They have been dedicated to the principles of responsible gambling for a long time, and a new declaration by the iGaming giant indicates that they plan to increase their efforts in this area significantly in the near future.

Signing a major safe-gaming partnership with gambling support service Betknowmore UK during Safer gaming Week 2021 was a stroke of genius on the part of the industry behemoth.

The United Kingdom-based firm plans to launch a year-long study on peer-driven group therapy for female players, with the primary focus being on safer gaming. Microgaming’s PlayItForward corporate social responsibility program will be footing the bill for this particular effort.

Microgaming’s backing is very extensive.

Betknowmore UK isn’t the only good cause that Microgaming has helped fund. The Gordon Moody Association also receives backing from the leading online casino operator.

The group is well-known for its counselling and treatment programs for those with gambling problems. The family of problem gamblers are encouraged to participate in treatment alongside the gamblers themselves.

Motiv8 IOM, situated in the Isle of Man, is another firm to receive assistance and funding from Microgaming. The latter group helps people in their native Manx by teaching them how to gamble responsibly and treating those who have developed gambling addictions.

Microgaming also backs a wide variety of other online efforts and projects. Among these are providing financial support to the mental health advocacy group Beacon Counseling Trust and covering the costs of advertising a social campaign operated by the National GamCare Helpline.

Happy To Be a Part of It

Betknowmore UK founder and CEO Frankie Graham commented on Microgaming’s hand of support this week, saying that the industry leader’s cooperation with the PlayItForward campaign has enabled the organization develop and deliver a number of innovative research-based support activities and projects. Graham outlined how all of these studies concentrate on the ways in which women are harmed by gambling.

Graham added some context by adding that the field of problem gambling support is underfunded, which highlights the importance of Microgaming’s presence at the top online gambling sites.

Microgaming CEO John Coleman has stated that the company is pleased to provide such a wide range of gambling and entertainment niches. He assured everyone that the iGaming provider would do everything in its power to support the central theme of Safer Gambling Week.

Coleman, however, emphasized that this discussion should take place all year round, not just during one week.
